Local artist Samantha Barlow-Beamer will present a workshop helping children fabricate their own fairy house using materials gathered from the beaches, forests, and fields of New England. Samantha is well known for her installation at The Florence Griswold Museum’s “Wee Faerie Village.” She will teach young artists about mosaic composition as they create their fairy houses made from shells, leaves, bark, and glitter.
